Frazier Park Real Estate

Frazier Park, California, is a cozy area nestled in the Los Padres National Forest, and is clustered with several other communities in the area, such as Pine Mountain Club, Lockwood Valley, Pinon Pines, Lake of The Woods, and more. It shares real estate characteristics with those communities as well, and is also just a short drive from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Southern California beaches, and many of the area’s local amusement parks.

Frazier Park has a great deal to offer. Besides being away from the city (yet close enough for a short drive to nightlife and city culture), it has the atmosphere of an alpine community and has a little over 2,000 residents. Frazier school children attend El Tejon Unified Schools, which has several excellent campuses. The El Tejon Unified School District boasts a 90 percent graduation rate, 5 percent over California’s statewide graduation rate, giving Frazier Park Schools a high reputation.

Frazier Park Community

One of the big attractions to Frazier Park is the great skiing. Tait Ranch SnowPark/Mt. Pinos SnowPlay is one of the area’s most popular winter fun parks, and offers tobogganing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and more. You can also find fishing, camping, hiking, and other outdoor sports nearby as well.

There are plenty of places to eat in Frazier Park and nearby towns, and lots of other activities to choose from. You can find golf, water sports, and even some indoor activities as well. This alpine community atmosphere makes Frazier Park real estate some of the areas most desirable.

Frazier Park Real Estate

While lots in Frazier Park can go for as little as $30-40,000, most of the homes are priced between $160,000 and several million dollars. Most are single family homes, and all offer the same level of clean, alpine family living.

If Frazier Park doesn’t have what you’re looking for, there are lots of other similar communities nearby. Here is a short list of those and a brief description of each:

Pine Mountain Club
This community has a lot to offer residents, with outdoor recreation, indoor facilities, and other amenities reserved for residents.

Lake of The Woods
With under 1,000 population, this small community is close to both Frazier Park and Pine Mountain Club.

Los Padres Estates
A new development with almost 200 homes planned. Zoning available for mobile homes and manufactured homes as well. Conveniently close to freeways.

Regardless of where you start looking for your California home, you shouldn’t sign a contract until you have looked at Frazier Park homes for sale. The area is teeming with activities for both winter and summer, is near the city of Los Angeles, and yet has a quiet atmosphere where you can feel the peaceful alpine breezes. The close-knit, family friendly community may be everything you ever wanted in a home. You owe it to yourself and your family to see what the Frazier Park lifestyle can offer you.
