The local weather is usually perfect for hiking most of the week, but make sure you take plenty of water and sunscreen.

Enjoy golf? Pine Mountain Club golf is a favorite activity of residents. This nine-hole course is often played twice by those who want to play 18 holes, and offers stunning views and challenges. The course has a golf pro available for lessons, a shop for repair and purchase, and there are opportunities for youth golf as well.

Pine Mountain Tennis Club offers some great opportunities for tennis lovers. From lessons and tournaments to social activities, this is one of the area’s favorite clubs. Annual dues are more than affordable--around $25 per year.

Cross country skiing is also very popular in the winter at Pine Mountain Club. The alpine atmosphere and terrain make it prime real estate for cross country enthusiasts.

There are also lots of family activities as well, such as a kid’s fishing pond, bird watching, and lots of sports facilities at Lampkin Park--basketball, baseball, volleyball, and more. While you’re at Lampkin Park, bring food for a picnic or barbecue as well.
